What is Friend Day?
It’s a time for YOU to reach out to the ones in your contacts list that may not go to church. This is a time to invite them to join you in LIFE Group or sit next to you in the one of our worship services. It’s a time for YOU to be intentional in fulling our mission “See to it that NO ONE misses the grace of God.” Who are YOU inviting this year?
How can I invite someone?
1. Start by shooting a quick, 1-minute or less, video on your phone explaining why you’re inviting them. Be sure to include the following:
- A general greeting
- An invitation to join YOU
- Be sure to include the date and location of where to meet you
You can say something like “I want to invite you to join me at my church on Sunday, October 26.”
Once you’ve completed your video, send it to everyone in your contacts that you know either doesn’t attend a church or maybe does but doesn’t have close fellowship in a LIFE Group.

2. Follow up with your friends closer to October 26 to see if they are going to be joining you that day so you can prepare.
