WEE School
let’s get ready to go to school
WEE school is a three-day-a-week preschool program for Prek-3 and Prek-4 eligible children. We strive to provide a preschool learning environment that educates the whole child, preparing them socially, emotionally, and academically for kindergarten. Children experience field trips, weekly music classes, music and motion classes, indoor and outdoor play, and classroom activities designed to promote reading, writing, and number skills.
About the School
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
8:30 a.m – 11:30 a.m.
WEE School runs from September to early May.
*We follow the Ouachita Parish School Board’s official school calendar in regards to holidays and school closings.
Pre-Kindergarten
3 Day a week program for children age 4 by Sept. 30
Preschool
3 Day a week program for children age 3 by Sept. 30
Extended Care
Tuesday and Thursday from 11:30 a.m – 2:00 p.m.
All WEE School applicants must be potty trained.

Please Note: Registration fee is collected upon admission to the program. Applicants are not guaranteed admission. The weekday ministries program reserves the right to deny any application at their discretion. Applicants will be notified by the WEE school director of their acceptance into the program.

Adults at the Calhoun Campus
At our Calhoun campus, we want to connect adults with opportunities to worship, build community, and serve. It’s our threads and it’s who we are. LIFE Groups are a great way to build community. These groups serve as the bridge to a deeper commitment to the life of the church. We have many groups for you to plug into. Groups meet at our campus location on Sunday and in homes during the week.
We also have ways you can serve. There’s a place for you! First West is here to help plug you in to helping us see to it that no one misses the grace of God.
